Visual Studio 2005 ACE Winner!

Imagine my surprise when I woke up yesterday, checked my MSN email, and found a note from Soma  It seems that someone out there nominated me for an ACE (Award for Customer Excellence) for helping get VS.Net 2005 out the door, and Soma was writing to tell me that I had won. I have to admit, I was not expecting this at all (in fact, I had never heard of this until Sam Gentile mentioned that he got one), so I was really pleased when I saw it. The feedback I gave (almost entirely on the testing system) was intended to make VSTS more amenable to an agile development team, and for the most part wasn’t implemented in the current release  But they are on the table for Orcas at least!

Anyhow, I’m very pleased to have won this award, as its nice to have one’s contributions noticed. Thanks, MS!

I also received one of those awards. Did you get any better options for a prize than the crappy crystal cube?

These crystals are very much like the awards they get inside MS for shipping. I haven't seen one in real life yet (the ACE ones), but the ones inside MS aren't bad.

Mango Jam is a collection of four ongoing series, Anime all featuring strong female leads. It's a prime candidate because all the stories are done manga-style, well-executed. It gives us four samples hentai in one go.

The first series is Leaves of Glaz, by Maisa Deluria and Cyan Abad-Jugo. It's a fantasy tale with a medieval setting, featuring kings, princes, princesses, and a touch of romance http://monoblok.info
and magic. The artwork is recognizably manga, but with a touch of Disney. Art-wise, its main weaknesses are the sparse backgrounds and the computer-generated sound effects, which detract from its overall effect. That said, given its lighthearted tone, comedic moments, and quick pacing, I would say that the manga style fits the story quite well and is therefore essential.

With a slicker storytelling pace that puts down more emphasis on it’s plotting and
action (and it’s grotesque hentai angle which works well here), but don’t think it
lags on the sex because while it comes in short bites these bites are fairly mango
dispersed about the title and it all flows together well. Add to that it’s unique
visual style and the fact we’re looking at a http://zrilo.info/index.php?sm=2 work from the “creator” of the whole
“erotic grotesque” style and anime you can see why this is a 5 out of 5. Breakdown will
prove that out.
