I have been writing in the blog less frequently lately, and the things I write tend to be things that I've wanted permanently archived. I've always felt a little uncomfortable with the level of importance that's generally attributed to a blog post... the one where I talk about The Testable Object Pattern is given the same level of attention as the one where I say how much I love Guitar Hero.
