Blu-Ray will be fighting losing battles with $1000 players and $40 movies, with HD-DVD on their heels with players at half the price (and almost certainly lower movie prices).
Will normal people be able to afford Blu-Ray? Will they price themselves out of the race before it even starts? Will people even care? Isn't DVD good enough for most people?
